Ken Olovich has coached travel softball for 6 years and travel baseball for many years before that and has coached many players that have moved on to play for their high schools and in college. Olovich was a high school basketball player but moved on to adult fastpitch softball leagues and played in national level tournaments. Olovich has a son that presently plays college baseball and is very familiar with the recruiting process and how to optimize opportunities for exposure and finding the best fit for players. To that end, Olovich stresses academics and GPA as the most important statistic in all of the recruiting process. In the 2017-2018, as primarily a first year 14U team, Ken’s Mustangs totaled over 50 wins and were consistently a top seeded team in tournaments. Ken is a Pharmacist from Purdue with a Masters in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan and has been married to his wife Julie for 27 years and have three children.
